Like many of today's older generation of female bodybuilder, Dianne didn't pick up the weights until her 30s. My guess is the lack of inspiration from the 80s, sure there were women who worked out and competed in that decade, but lets be honest, they were like today's figure competitors. Real female bodybuilding didn't begin until the early 90s, and once our veterans of today got a vision of the kind of physiques that were attainable for women, they were hitting the gym and building the kind of muscle previously only thought of as an exclusively male en-devour.
Inspired by the kinds of beautiful physiques like Bev Francis and Tina Lockwood, Dianne quickly traded her aerobics classes for the weight room. Another genetically gifted muscle woman, Dianne packed on 50 lbs of hardcore female beef over the next decade.
